This month's tutor spotlight: Ian Nixon
I am a fully qualified teacher and have been teaching French since 2011, preparing students for AS and A-Level exams in both AQA and Edexcel. I have also taught Cambridge pre-U and GCSE plus the North American AP and SAT qualifications. As part of the A-Level French curriculum I have developed resources pertaining to novels and films, as well as a primer on essay structure. In addition to this I have been Personal Tutor to groups of AS and A-Level students, providing support for UCAS application. It has been my privilege to work with students who bring very different experiences and from a range of backgrounds, nations and cultures; a key element of teaching French which I particularly enjoy is study of the wider multicultural francophone world.
